Announcing: Erotic Harry Potter Night!
It's time for EROTIC HARRY POTTER NIGHT!
We had so much fun doing it last year before Terminus that we're doing it again in conjunction with the happening of Azkatraz!
What is Erotic Harry Potter Night?
It's an evening off-site event of slash and erotic fanfic reading! We'll have various fanfic readers present enticing selections of their fic aloud, perhaps a brief Drabble Battle, door prizes, name tags, and a special commemorative zine! You must be 18 years of age or older to attend or participate.
When will it be?
We were originally planning on Thursday night, but with the movie time moving around, too many people couldn't commit to it. Discussing things with the con, we've settled on Friday night from 6pm to 8pm. We will coordinate traveling in a group via public transit from the hotel to the Center for Sex & Culture, and returning to the hotel in time for people to attend the majority of the Mixer going on that night. We will unfortunately conflict with the Wrock cruise.
Where will it be?
We will be hosted by the fabulous non-profit organization the Center for Sex & Culture! They are located pretty close to the hotel at 1519 Mission Street, which is 8 blocks from the hotel (about exactly one mile walk). There are busses that run down Market Street, too, for $1.50, for those who would find a mile walk too far to go. We will arrange groups to travel together to and from the venue!
How much does it cost?
We are suggesting a donation of $3 to the Center for Sex & Culture for allowing us to gather in their space, but this is optional. We will also be selling a zine for between $7 and $10 for those who want it! Purchasing the zine is NOT required. We will only be printing enough to cover what we'll sell at the con, and it will be priced to break even.

If you want to read your fic aloud, please send me a link to the fic you would be considering reading. I'll be taking RSVPs on LJ, IJ, and via email to ravenna_c_tan AT yahoo DOT com. If I get more people wanting to read than we can fit (I think 6 would be the maximum) then I'll draw straws out of all the names I get. I also have an idea that everyone who wants to could participate in a Drabble Battle. Each participant would get 3 drabbles and would go in three rounds. The audience will pick which are the hottest drabbles at each round, until a winner is chosen! Drabbles must be no longer than 100 words!
Submission to the Zine:
We need to keep the zine a manageable size or we won't be able to afford to print it. So please keep submissions under 5000 words. I don't know if we'll be able to fit everyone in who wants to be in, so please get me your submissions by June 26th so I can see what fits. Slash, femslash and het are all allowed, though if things go like last year, slash will be the most popular choice. It would be extra great to have some submissions that have a San Francisco theme? But not required.
