I am just about done compiling the awards for the latest round of HP Tarot, and am wondering if there is an intrepid volunteer out there who would make the award banners for us?

Your main job would be in two parts: design the banner, and then make JPGs or PNGs of it for each winner, filling in their name and what they won. I'd give you the list of those on, say, Monday or Tuesday of next week, and I'd want them back within 2-3 days?

My HP Darkfest fic is nearly finished... but it has been stalled at the night before the climactic scene for almost a week now. My beta has been reading the piece section by section (it's long!) but even though she went away for the weekend, now she's nearly caught up, and I am stuck.

Not stuck in that I don't know what comes next. I'm just somehow not *ready* to write what happens next.

I think perhaps there's something I am going to learn, either a plot twist will be revealed or something surprising will happen... but I am in a Catch-22. I need to write the scene to discover what the surprise is, but I need to know what the surprise is before I am ready to write the scene.

Perhaps I should get in bed and just lie there and think about it. It is almost 3:30 in the morning, and I suppose it's win-win. Either I'll conk out before I think of something (thus curing me of insomnia) or I'll think of something...

And for some reason YahooMail is refusing to let me connect tonight. So who knows when I'll see notifications again?
