Author's notes: this was written for last year's HDS Beltane fest, for sapphiretragedy, who requested "I want angst - it can have a happy ending, but try to put the characters through their paces. I prefer some kind of HP/SS/DM relationship. Not necessarily NC-17, but a dynamic at least. Please include a reaction to the events of HBP - How do they deal? How did they end up there? I am also more interested in character driven things, too. Plot isn't as important to me as character."
